Happy Birthday MariCagle!

MariCagle had not a happy birth - day, but a happy birthday week! The celebration began on her actual birthday and continued through the long weekend. She got a present a day in the mail from loving friends and family. Thank you all so much for thinking of her in such nice ways! And we celebrated over the long weekend with a visit from Nana and Pa, Grandma and Papa, and Aunt Terri. It really was a great week!

The birthday girl awoke on her special day to presents and pancakes.

The presents just kept coming, like the Energizer bunny.

We really enjoyed having family come from so far to visit. We were so grateful to see them and spend time with them and share our new home with them.
We were able to do lots of fun things with our company including a trip to UNL campus, the Quilting Museum, the Dairy Store on campus, and putt-putt....

This was MariCagle and Nate's first putt-putt experience. I'm not sure what they enjoyed the most, the putt-putt or skeeball after the round. They loved winning tickets and trading them for trinkets.
So after the long weekend, it's back to the routine which, I must admit, has gotten busy. MariCagle is back to violin lessons, and she and Nate both continue with their soccer season. We'll keep you posted! Hugs and kisses to all!
